The American Red Cross of Northwest Indiana is now accepting applications for their upcoming EMT course. The course begins August 12th, and will be hosted by the Highland Fire Department. Interested parties are encouraged to pre-register as the class size is limited. A pre-registration deposit is required to reserve a seat in the class and will be applied to the $650 course fee.

Course applicants must posses a current CPR for the Professional Rescuer or equivalent certification as a prerequisite to the EMT course.
